Description
Medium-late maturing variety, obtained at VSTISP from crossing the varieties Coronation and Goliath. Breeders: V.M. Litvinova, S.D. Prokofyev. Included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the Northwestern and Central regions in 1986.
Medium-height, medium-spreading, dense bush. Growing shoots of medium thickness, straight, green, with brown-red tips, hairy, woody — thick, brown. Medium-sized buds, elongated, pointed, whitish, without hairs, slightly pressed against the shoots, solitary, apical free, leaf scar shape rounded-triangular.
Leaf five-lobed, medium-sized, green, slightly hairy on the underside, slightly wrinkled, dull or with a weak gloss, tender. Leaf blade slightly curved along main veins. Central lobe pointed, longer than lateral ones, with additional protrusions. Lateral lobes short, pointed, angle between their veins straight. Basal lobes well-developed, veins spread out. Leaf base with small, rounded notch, straight in lower leaves. Teeth small, pointed, without clearly defined "tip". Petiole medium length, without hairs, reddish.
Flowers medium-sized, cup-shaped, sepals with bright pinkish-red coloration, touching each other. Inflorescence medium length (6-8 cm) and density, with medium petiole. Axis medium thickness, without hairs, pedicel medium length, green, without hairs.
Berries medium to large (average weight 1.0-1.2 g, maximum 1.8 g), round, black, sometimes clustered in a whorl at the top of the inflorescence, with a moderate number of small seeds, dry detachment. Receptacle medium size, closed, falls off. Taste sour-sweet, aromatic (4.0 points). Berries of universal use. Chemical composition: total sugars — 9.1%, titratable acidity — 3.2%, ascorbic acid — 203.5 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, self-fertile, resistant to pests and diseases, yield 10.9 t/ha (3.6 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: yield, resistance to diseases and pests.
Disadvantages of the variety: requires fertile soil, especially in the first years of cultivation.
