Description
Medium-ripening variety, developed at the Southern Ural Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Potato Growing by crossing the varieties Chulkovskaya and Fayya Plodorodnaya. Author: V.S. Ilyin. Under state variety testing since 2005.
Medium-height, upright, moderately dense bush. Growing shoots are thin, slightly curved, hairless, light green. Buds of medium size, with a sharp tip, deviated from the shoots. Petiole scar is narrow, rounded.
Leaf five-lobed, medium and small, green, matte, soft, wrinkled, blade positioned horizontally or slightly upward, concave along the central vein of the central lobe, leaf margin wavy. Lobes are pointed, central exceeds lateral ones. Angle between central veins of lateral lobes is straight, lateral lobes are widely spaced. Basal lobes moderately expressed. Leaf base with deep or medium triangular notch. Teeth are short, sharp, not curled. Petiole is long, thin, light green.
Flowers of medium size, bowl-shaped, with moderately pronounced calyx. Sepals are yellow-green, not fused, slightly curled. Inflorescences are long, with medium-thick axis, petiole short and hairy.
Berries medium (0.6-1.0 g), one-dimensional, round, red. Seed quantity is medium. Taste is sour-sweet, pleasant (4.5 points). Berries are of universal use. Receptacle is round, small, closed.
Winter-hardy, high-yielding variety, average multi-year yield is 7.0 tons/ha, maximum — 20.0 tons/ha (1.8-5.0 kg/plant), characterized by good self-fertility, weakly affected by powdery mildew and anthracnose.
Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness, yield, resistance to diseases and pests.
Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient berry size.
