Description
Medium-ripening variety, obtained at the Siberian Institute of Horticulture named after M.A. Lisavensky.
Result of crossing the varieties Seyanets Golubki and Lepaan Musta. Authors: Z.S. Zotova, I.P. Kalinina, N.I. Nazaryuk, M.A. Pershina, I.L. Teslya. Since 2004, included in the State Register of varieties approved for use in the West Siberian region.
Bush is weak-growing, medium-spreading, medium-density. Growing shoots of medium thickness, slightly curved, light-green, without hairs, woody — light-brown. Buds of medium size, pointed, egg-shaped, golden-brown, without hairs, deviated, single. Apical bud is free.
Leaf five-lobed, medium, light-green, matte, without hairs, wrinkled, convex. Lobes are sharp, with deep notches. Additional protrusions are present on the middle lobe. Side lobes are directed sideways, the angle between their midveins is obtuse. Basal lobes are well-developed, their veins directed toward the petiole. Base of the leaf has a notch formed by overlapping leaf edges. Teeth are short, wide, with clearly defined "tips". Petiole is medium-length and thickness, without hairs, green, slightly colored at edges, deviated at 45° angle.
Flowers are large, cup-shaped, calyx lobes light-pink, not fused, slightly curved backward. Stigma is at the level of anthers. Inflorescences are medium length up to 4–6 cm, dense, hanging. Axis is thick, green, curved.
Berries are very large (2.4–5.2 g), round, black, with medium seed count, thin skin, with semi-dry detachment, sour-sweet flavor, universal use. Ripening is prolonged, transportability satisfactory. Chemical composition: soluble dry substances — 10.6–14.4%, total sugars — 6.7–10.6%, titratable acidity — 0.6–2.2%, ascorbic acid — 175.9 mg/100 g, pectic substances (on fresh weight) — 1.2–2.7%.
Cold-hardy, drought-resistant, self-fertile, early-bearing, average yield 16.0 t/ha (4.8 kg/plant), maximum — 20.0 t/ha, resistant to powdery mildew (0.2 points) and gall mite (0 points), anthracnose (1.0 point), bud mite (2.0 points), septoria (up to 3.0 points).
Advantages of the variety: high yield, large fruit size, good berry taste, high resistance to powdery mildew and gall mite.
Disadvantages of the variety: prolonged fruit ripening, semi-dry berry detachment, moderate severity of septoria.
