Description
Early-maturing variety, developed at the Mountain Horticulture Department of the Siberian Institute of Horticulture named after M.A. Lisavenko, from a cross between the form (Black Cluster of Open Pollination) and the variety Nestor Kozin. Author: L.N. Zabelina. Since 1997, it has been included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the Western and Eastern Siberian regions.
Medium-height, loosely branched, moderately dense bush. Growing shoots of medium thickness, straight, light green with anthocyanic tips, slightly hairy, woody — medium thickness, light brown, slightly hairy. Buds of medium size, solitary, egg-shaped, with spreading scales (hairy), pointed, light green, deviated from the shoot, terminal non-free (grouped with equally developed buds).
Leaves three-lobed, medium-sized, light green, without hairs, wrinkled, leathery, concave along main veins, slightly shiny. Central lobe of medium width, elongated, curved along the vein. Angle between main veins of lateral lobes is acute. Basal lobes are well developed, but sometimes only one lobe is well developed. Veins of basal lobes directed towards leaf apex. Leaf base with small, open notch. Color of main veins is light green. Teeth are short, sharp, curved inward. Petioles are short, thick, slightly hairy, green, positioned at an acute angle (45°) to the shoot.
Flowers medium-sized, calyx lobes pink, petals cream-colored, not closed, deviated. Inflorescences single and triple, straight, medium length (5-10 berries), medium density. Berry stems short, thick, bright green, slightly hairy.
Berries large (1.6-2.1 g), oval, one-dimensional, black, slightly shiny, with numerous small seeds, thin skin with dry detachment, tart-sweet, pleasant flavor. Calyx small, closed, elastic. Chemical composition: soluble dry substances — 11.3-14.5%, total sugars — 6.3-8.1%, titratable acidity — 2.2-3.8%, ascorbic acid — 74.0-102.0 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, early-bearing, self-fertile, resistant to fungal diseases, rust, bud mite, high-yielding (6.3 t/ha).
Advantages of the variety: plasticity, stable high yield, winter hardiness, large berry size, good berry flavor, resistance to rust and bud mite.
Disadvantages of the variety: rapid aging of the bush, high demand for agronomic care.
