The Farmet Kompaktomat is a wide-span seedbed cultivator designed for the intensive crushing of soil clods, leveling of micro-relief, and creation of a firm, uniform seedbed in a single pass. The unit's primary value lies in its modular architecture, allowing operators to fine-tune the machine configuration for specific soil conditions.

Core Components and Their Operational Function

• Front Roller Section: Manages pre-crushing of large soil aggregates and provides contour following. The rollers operate in tandem with the front leveling board, which aggressively shaves down soil ridges.
• Working Tools (Tines): The unit can be equipped with either duck-foot sweeps or narrow chisels. The main advantage is the ability to adjust working depth within a 2 to 12 cm range. Rigid tine mounting prevents uncontrolled penetration, which is vital for precise seed placement depth.
• Rear Roller Tandem: Features such as Croskill or tubular rollers ensure intensive compaction. When working in heavy soil conditions, high pressure is maintained to effectively seal the soil surface and prevent moisture loss from deeper layers.
• Hydraulic Folding System: Despite its significant working width, the machine is designed with a low center of gravity, ensuring stability during road transport.

The practical advantage of the Kompaktomat is its high operational speed (up to 15 km/h), which significantly shortens the window for spring field work. High throughput capacity is achieved through a strategically optimized layout of working tools, minimizing clogging from crop residues even in moist field conditions.
