Winter garlic variety Cavalier is a high-yielding and winter-hardy variety, characterized by its bolting form and semi-sharp flavor. The plant reaches a height of 35-40 cm, with green leaves of medium waxy coating intensity. This variety adapts well to various soil types and is suitable for both experienced and beginner gardeners.

Cavalier bulbs are round-flat shaped, very dense and large, typically weighing from 65 to 95 grams, with individual specimens reaching up to 130 grams. Each bulb contains 8 to 16 large, juicy, and crunchy cloves weighing 6-9 grams, which fit tightly together. Dry skins are white, while juicy cloves differ with a white color with a pale-purple hue. Thanks to its dense structure and quality taste characteristics, the variety is excellent for culinary use and canning, without losing its taste qualities and aroma during storage.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to plant bulbs in sunny areas with loose and fertilized soils. Planting depth is 5-7 cm, distance between bulbs is 10-15 cm, and between rows is 40-45 cm. In northern regions, during autumn planting, beds should be covered with hay, dry leaves, or spruce branches to protect from cold. The variety's yield reaches 2.0-3.0 kg per square meter, making Cavalier a stable and reliable choice for cultivation.
