The bulb has an oval-flat shape of medium size, with a mass ranging from 48 to 85 grams. The appearance of the bulb is characterized by creamy dry outer scales with purple veins, while the leather-like scales have a purple tint. Illarion belongs to spring garlic varieties that are planted in the spring.
