Description
Medium-ripening variety, developed in the Siberian Horticulture Research Institute named after M.A. Lisavensky in 1958 by selection from seedlings of open-pollinated 'Chelyabinsk Green'. Breeders: Z.S. Zotova, N.I. Kravtseva, N.I. Nazaryuk, Z.A. Nogodova. Since 2000, included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the West Siberian region.
Medium-height, medium-spreading, medium-dense bush. Stems are thick and medium, light green. Thorns are medium length and thickness, single or triple, positioned perpendicular to the stem.
Leaves are medium-sized, light green, matte, with a brownish tint by autumn, without hairs. Leaf blade is smooth, leathery, concave. Teeth are blunt and curled. Leaves are three-lobed. Leaf base is straight with a small notch.
Flowers are medium-sized, pale in color. Stigma is at the level of the anthers. Seed quantity is small. Absence of hairs on the ovary.
Berries are large (3.9-4.3 g), oval, yellowish with a waxy coating. Receptacle is closed. Skin is medium-thick. Seed quantity is small. Taste is sour-sweet, excellent, without aroma. Berry detachment is dry, good transportability. Ripe in the third decade of July, simultaneously. Peduncle is long and medium, green. Chemical composition: soluble dry substances - 22.0%, total sugars - 16.5%, titratable acidity - 1.9%, ascorbic acid - 45.4 mg/100 g.
Cold-resistant, drought-tolerant, high-yielding variety, average yield is 8.2 t/ha (2.5 kg/plant), maximum 9.5 t/ha, characterized by good self-fertility. Begins fruiting in the third year after planting. Exhibits high resistance to powdery mildew and anthracnose (1.0 point).
Advantages of the variety: high yield, large berry size, dessert-like berry taste, high resistance to powdery mildew.
Disadvantages of the variety: susceptible to anthracnose in wet years.
