Description
The variety is characterized by high yield and early ripening - usually in the first half of July or mid-August, depending on growing conditions. Vines are medium-sized with well-ripening one-year-old shoots. The flower is perfect (hermaphrodite), which promotes stable fruiting. Amber Muscat is resistant to low temperatures down to -18-20°C, however, it requires winter covering. It prefers growing on warm slopes with rich, light-permeable soils, which promotes optimal development and ripening of berries.
Additionally, the variety has resistance to some fungal diseases: it is resistant to powdery mildew and moderately resistant to downy mildew and gray rot. The crop stores well on the vines, although during long-term storage berries may raisin. Due to its taste qualities and resistance, Amber Muscat is widely used for fresh consumption, being an excellent choice for lovers of aromatic and sweet grapes.
