KURTSEIT AGANYN DRIED FRUIT

Kurtseit Aganyn Dried Fruit is a native Crimean grape variety that has significant historical and cultural significance in local viticulture. This variety belongs to the Eastern eco-geographical group and is characterized by a medium ripening period, usually in mid-September. Bushes exhibit high vigor and high yield, making it attractive to regional viticulturists.

Bunches of Kurtseit Aganyn Dried Fruit are large, cylindrical-conical or conical in shape, medium to dense density, weighing around 360 grams. Berries are large, round or slightly oval, yellow-green in color, covered with a dense waxy bloom. The berry skin is thin, medium strength, with a coarse texture; the pulp is fleshy-juicy, spreading, with a weak muscat aroma and harmonious taste. Juice sugar content is 16-18 g per 100 cm³, and acidity is 5-6.5 g/dm³.

The variety is distinguished by increased resistance to fungal diseases such as oidium and downy mildew, as well as to the grape tortrix. It withstands periodic droughts well, which is especially important for the climate of Crimea. However, in years with heavy autumn rainfall, berries may be prone to rotting. Kurtseit Aganyn Dried Fruit is used primarily for the production of ordinary strong wines, often in a blend with other varieties, which allows creating unique wine compositions.
