Description
The Lyubava grape variety is a hybrid form of Russian breeding, obtained by crossing the Delavar pink and Vostorg varieties. This variety differs in its medium ripening period, which begins in mid-August and continues until mid-September. The bushes are vigorous with well-ripening canes, ensuring high resistance to diseases and the ability to withstand low temperatures down to -23...-28°C. Leaves are large, with dense felted pubescence and weak lobing, which contributes to good plant development and protection from unfavorable conditions. Bunches of Lyubava are conical or cylindro-conical, weighing from 200 to 400 grams, moderately dense or loose. Berries are light green or light pink, medium or large size, weighing 3-4 grams, oval in shape with a dense waxy coating. The pulp of the berries is juicy-fleshy, crisp, with a pleasant musk aroma and sweet taste. The juice is colorless, seeds are small or medium size. An important feature of the variety is the absence of berry cracking, which enhances its market appearance and suitability for long-term storage. Lyubava differs in good rooting and cane ripening, which makes it attractive for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Due to its taste qualities and resistance to diseases, this variety is popular among gardeners and viticulturists. It is suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing, providing a stable yield with high taste characteristics.
