A reliable systemic herbicide for controlling broadleaf weeds in cereal crop fields.
Description
Reliable grain protection: working with AGENT, SE herbicide
When signs of cleavers or common lambsquarters appear in the fields, there is no time for hesitation. AGENT, SE from the Cherkasy Agrochemical Factory is the tool we keep in our arsenal for rapid crop treatment. The systemic action of the product is highly selective: post-emergence treatment on wheat or barley is clean, without stunting the crops.
Field Application Insights
In practice, we use a rate of 0.3–0.5 L/ha. Since this is a foliar herbicide, we aim for uniform coverage. Because it is an emulsifiable concentrate, the formulation mixes easily with water in the sprayer tank, does not clog nozzles, and requires no complicated preparation. Given its Hazard Class 3 rating, we follow standard safety precautions, and it is comfortable to work with—it lacks the sharp, caustic odor characteristic of more aggressive chemicals.
Why we choose this composition
- Selectivity: effectively eliminates annual and perennial broadleaf weeds without affecting winter or spring cereals.
- Effective Control: a single pass per season is enough to remove the competitive pressure from your crops.
- Versatility: works equally effectively on corn, millet, sorghum, and all wheat varieties.
Over years of use, we’ve found AGENT, SE to be consistent and predictable. It does not require specific application conditions beyond following the weed growth stages. If you need to clear your fields quickly without unnecessary risks to your crops, this is a proven Ukrainian-made product that stands up well against international competitors.
