Synergy of Metsulfuron-methyl and Tribenuron-methyl
Ally Super 70 WG is a high-tech herbicide whose performance is rooted in the combination of two potent sulfonylurea active ingredients. Metsulfuron-methyl provides long-term residual soil activity, while tribenuron-methyl ensures rapid knockdown of weeds upon contact with foliage. This synergy creates a robust protection solution for winter cereals.
Technical Performance and Application
- Systemic Selectivity: The herbicide is rapidly absorbed through the leaves and translocated throughout the plant via the xylem and phloem. It targets the acetolactate synthase enzyme, which is vital for weed growth. Winter wheat and barley safely metabolize the active ingredients into inactive forms, ensuring crop safety.
- WG Formulation: The water-dispersible granule technology ensures excellent solubility and solution stability, preventing sprayer nozzle clogging during field operations.
- Post-emergence Control: As a selective post-emergence herbicide, it is applied during the period from tillering to jointing. It effectively manages a broad spectrum of both annual and perennial dicot weeds.
With an application rate of 0.02–0.025 kg/ha, the product offers a highly cost-efficient approach to crop protection.
