«Euro-Land» by «Nertus» is a sophisticated systemic herbicide engineered to protect sunflower hybrids resistant to imidazolinones. The technical efficacy of this product is rooted in the synergistic combination of two active ingredients: imazamox and imazapyr. This specific formulation ensures a dual-action mechanism that inhibits weed amino acid synthesis, effectively preventing the development of resistance.

Mechanism of Action and Selectivity

The herbicide is absorbed primarily through the foliage, with rapid translocation via the xylem and phloem to the meristematic tissues. As a post-emergence systemic herbicide, «Euro-Land» is capable of eliminating weeds during their peak vegetative growth phases. The product's selectivity relies on the specific metabolic ability of genetically modified sunflowers to neutralize the active components before they interfere with the crop's physiological development.

Target Weeds and Application Parameters

The product provides robust control over some of the most aggressive weed species found in agricultural fields:

• Common ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia), Redroot pigweed, Common lambsquarters;
• Shepherd's purse, Common fumitory;
• Cleavers, Field bindweed, Black bindweed.

The product is formulated as a water-soluble concentrate, which ensures seamless tank-mixing and consistent emulsion stability. The recommended dosage ranges from 1.0 to 2.0 L/ha. Given its Hazard Class 3 rating, the application protocol is strictly limited to one treatment per season to ensure both effective weed control and environmental safety.

Operational Advantages

Beyond its contact activity, «Euro-Land» serves as an effective soil-residual herbicide. This secondary action provides a "soil screen" effect, preventing subsequent weed flushes shortly after the application.
