The core of "Monitor, WG" is sulfosulfuron, a sulfonylurea derivative that inhibits the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme in weeds. For winter wheat, this herbicide is highly selective: the crop can rapidly metabolize the active ingredient into harmless compounds. Conversely, weeds such as couch grass (Elymus repens), loose silky-bent, and cleavers lose their ability to divide cells, leading to inevitable destruction.

Advantages of the WG Formulation

The "Water Dispersible Granules" form by Sumitomo Chemical Agro Europe S.A.S. ensures the stability of the spray solution. Unlike powders, granules do not dust, are easy to dose, and dissolve instantly in the sprayer tank to form a stable suspension. This ensures uniform coverage of the leaf surface, which is critical for a systemic product that moves through the plant's phloem and xylem.
