Titus Extra 75 by Corteva has become my go-to solution for effective post-emergence protection in a single pass.

Performance and Key Benefits

The product works systemically, with its active ingredients—nicosulfuron and rimsulfuron—rapidly absorbed through the leaves to halt weed development. As an operator, what I value most is its selectivity. The corn tolerates the treatment extremely well, showing minimal stress compared to many alternatives on the market.

Application Insights

The application rate ranges from 1.0 to over 3.0 liters per hectare, depending on the weed pressure and the growth stage. Since it is a post-emergence tool, it’s best used once the weeds have emerged to clean up the field effectively. Note that this product is designed for a single application per season. It falls under hazard class 3, so standard safety protocols and protective gear are essential during spraying operations. Once applied, the herbicide is quickly absorbed, leading to rapid growth cessation in weeds. For me, it provides the peace of mind that my corn is free from competition during its most critical growth phase.
