When managing wheat or barley fields, the biggest challenge is controlling broadleaf weeds without stressing the crop. Triatlon, WG has become a reliable solution in my fields. It is a systemic herbicide that effectively targets both annual and perennial weeds, which are often the toughest to control.

Practical advantages of using Triatlon, WG

• Easy handling: The water-dispersible granules dissolve smoothly, meaning no clogging in the sprayer filters or nozzles. It makes field operations much faster and cleaner.
• Broad-spectrum action: The triple-active ingredient composition (Florasulam, Thifensulfuron-methyl, Tribenuron-methyl) works quickly. Weeds stop competing for nutrients shortly after application, and total control is usually achieved within a couple of weeks.
• High selectivity: The product is highly selective, meaning my wheat and barley can continue to develop without phytotoxicity issues, even if the application window is slightly affected by the weather.

With an application rate of 0.035–0.05 kg/ha, one treatment per season is sufficient to keep fields clean. Because it is a post-emergence (insurance) herbicide, I can apply it exactly when weeds are most vulnerable, making the whole process economically efficient.
