A reliable systemic herbicide for controlling perennial grasses in soybean, rapeseed, and sunflower fields.
Description
Effective Grass Weed Control in Broadleaf Crops
Success in cultivating sunflower, rapeseed, and soybean depends heavily on keeping fields clean during early vegetative stages. When cereal weeds begin to overwhelm crops, competing for moisture and nutrients, professional agronomists rely on systemic solutions. UNI-GRASS 150, EC from the Chinese manufacturer Wuxi UnitChem Co. is a specialized post-emergence herbicide designed to solve this exact problem.
How the Product Works in the Field
The product is based on quizalofop-p-ethyl, which belongs to the aryloxyphenoxypropionate class. This systemic active ingredient penetrates through the leaf surface and rapidly moves to the growth points, blocking fatty acid synthesis. As a result, weeds stop competing with the crop just hours after application, and total death of the root system of perennial grasses occurs within 2–3 weeks.
Practical Application Guidelines
- Timing: Apply strictly after crop emergence. Maximum effect is achieved when treating during the active growth phase of weeds (2-4 leaves for annual grasses and a height of 10-15 cm for quackgrass).
- Dosage: Depending on the weed species composition and density, the product is used at rates ranging from 0.3 to 1.0 liters per hectare.
- Regulation: The label allows for only one application per season. Note the product's selectivity: it is safe for sunflowers, soybeans, and rapeseed but requires strict adherence to the concentration of the working solution.
UNI-GRASS 150, EC, in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate, dissolves perfectly in water and demonstrates stable performance under various weather conditions, providing reliable control of grass weeds where mechanical weeding is impossible or economically unviable.
