Description
Lilac "Adeline" – a medium-sized shrub reaching up to 2 m in height and about 1.5 m in width, with an annual volume growth of approximately 30 cm. Leaves are round, emerald in hue, slightly pointed, creating a dense green mass that serves as an excellent base for bright flowers.
Large conical inflorescences with a diameter of about 25 cm consist of 3–5 pairs of widely pyramidal panicles. Flowers are milky-pink, while buds are dark pink; in semi-shade and cloudy weather, petals may take on a lilac tint. Blooming starts in May and continues until June, and plants can withstand both direct sun (flowers do not fade) and semi-shade.
"Adeline" prefers light, fertile, moist soils with good drainage and high humus content. It is drought-resistant, withstands frost below –30 °C, and is rarely affected by diseases and pests, making it an ideal choice for both single plantings and groups in landscape design.
