DAFNA

Common lilac "Dafna" (Syringa vulgaris 'Dafna') – a compact shrub reaching 1–1.2 m in height, which fits easily into small garden plots thanks to its low growth and spherical shape. The bush is characterized by thin branches and a dense canopy of light green leaves, which give the plant a fresh look even after old leaves fall off.

The flowering of "Dafna" begins in early spring – in April–early May, sometimes simultaneously with the unfolding of new leaves. Flowers are dark-lilac in shade, small and simple, gathered in inflorescences of two to three pairs of panicles of medium size (13–16 cm). Their bright color does not fade, and the aroma is delicate, almost perfumed, creating a pleasant atmosphere in the garden space.

This variety is distinguished by resistance to diseases and good adaptability to various climatic conditions. Due to compactness and flower durability, "Dafna" is a universal choice for landscape design: it can be used as a separate decorative element, in groups with other shrubs, or as a ground cover for paths and flower beds.
