Blooming begins in early May and continues until the middle of the month, reaching its peak between May 10 and 25. The flowers have a medium aroma and maintain their brightness even during prolonged blooming. The plant is resistant to late spring frosts, exhibits good hardiness (cold hardiness zone up to –35 °C), and drought tolerance.
The 'Victory Day' variety prefers sunny, sheltered from wind locations with fertile, loamy or clay-loam soils that ensure good drainage. It grows well in moderately cold climatic conditions and is suitable for greening in the northwestern, central, Volgograd, black earth, and middle Volga regions. Due to its decorativeness, abundant blooming, and resistance to pests and diseases, this variety is an excellent choice for gardens and parks.
