MARSHAL KONEV

The Marshal KoneV lilac is a medium-sized shrub reaching up to 2.5 m in height and about 1.5 m in width, gaining approximately 30 cm in volume over a year. Heart-shaped, dark green, matte leaves with a pointed tip create a dense, thick carpet capable of serving as a living fence or a design element.

Large double inflorescences with a diameter of 20–25 cm are one of the main advantages of the variety. Petals are rosy-lilac with a blue hue, slightly fading to lavender, giving the flowers a soft gradation. Buds have a greenish-pink tone, contrasting with the bright petals and highlighting the plant's decorative quality. Inflorescences are multi-vertex, dense, and wide, creating an effective visual accent.

Flowering begins in mid-May and continues until the second decade of June, with a relatively long flowering period. The scent is strong, making the shrub pleasant for walks and relaxation. Marshal KoneV is resistant to diseases and pests, withstands pruning well, and tolerates frost below –30 °C and moderate drought. It preferably grows on light, fertile, moist, drained soils with high humus content but shows good adaptability both in partial shade and in direct sunlight.

The variety is suitable for greening urban areas, parks, and gardens, and can also be used as a decorative element in landscape compositions. Thanks to its resistance and attractive appearance, Marshal KoneV is a popular choice among gardeners seeking a combination of aesthetics and practicality.
