BENEFIS is a medium-late maturing chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) variety, distinguished by its high quality characteristics and resistance to unfavorable conditions. The plant reaches a height of 37 to 59 cm and has a semi-upright bush. The vegetative period lasts from 68 to 99 days, allowing for successful cultivation in regions with a temperate climate, in particular in the Saratov region. The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, ensuring a stable yield and high productivity — average yield reaches 13.4 centners per hectare.


BENEFIS chickpea seeds are large, uniform, and have excellent culinary ratings, making them in demand both in the food industry and for home use. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 305 to 398 grams, and the protein content reaches 25%, indicating the high nutritional value of the product. Thanks to these characteristics, chickpeas of this variety are an excellent source of plant protein and suitable for various culinary purposes.
