Description
Sedona F1 bulbs have a round shape, dense structure, and an attractive golden-brown hue of the outer scales. The average weight of one bulb is 80-120 grams. Inner scales are white, thick, crisp, tightly adhering to each other, with a tender, semi-pointed flesh free of bitterness. The hybrid is characterized by high bulb density and excellent retention of upper scales, contributing to good storability and long-term storage capability. Dry matter content reaches 9.1%, making the onion heat-tolerant and suitable for various culinary uses.
Sedona F1 is resistant to a wide range of fungal diseases, including powdery mildew, root rot, and fusarium, and adapts well to various weather conditions. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine and Moldova, both as seedlings and direct seeding. It is intended for fresh consumption, processing, and long-term storage, making it a versatile choice for both commercial and private cultivation. Planting is recommended at a spacing of 1x10 cm, to a depth of about 3 cm, with a seed consumption of 4-8 grams per square meter.
