Description
The fruits of tomato Afamia have a round shape and deep red color, with an average weight ranging from 150 to 200 grams. They are characterized by a dense structure, ensuring good transportability and long storage life. Due to these qualities, the tomatoes are suitable for both fresh consumption and market distribution with minimal quality loss.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a wide range of diseases, including tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), verticillium wilt (Va, Vd), fusarium wilt, and root rot (Fol, For). It also shows moderate resistance to tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) and nematodes (Ma, Mi, Mj). Afamia F1 is best grown in plastic greenhouses, where it demonstrates optimal performance, although it is also suitable for open ground.
