When you take the Unia Atlas out onto heavy or stony soil, you immediately understand that the Poles designed this unit for sheer endurance. The frame is massive and rigid; even under heavy-duty conditions, it holds up without any signs of twisting or fatigue.

Maintenance and Repairability

What I appreciate about working with Unia is that the engineers haven't made access to critical components difficult. Greasing points are logically placed; you don't need to be a gymnast to reach them with a grease gun. When a part needs replacing—like shanks or points—the bolts rarely seize, and spares are readily available from dealers. This saves a lot of stress during the planting season when every hour counts.

In-Field Performance

• Depth Control: The Atlas maintains a consistent working depth even in dense soil without jumping. This ensures uniform soil preparation across the entire field, which reflects in the evenness of the crop emergence.
• Tractor Load: The power requirements are very reasonable for this class of machinery. If you dial in the right operating speed, fuel consumption remains well within acceptable limits.
• Trash Clearance: The high frame clearance allows you to work through heavy stubble without the unit turning into a bulldozer. Crop residue clears effectively without constant stops for cleaning.

In short: this is a workhorse that doesn't throw surprises at you. It’s a simple, heavy-duty, and highly efficient tool. You can sit in the tractor cab with peace of mind, knowing the unit is doing its job right, and you won't have to spend your day crawling around it with a wrench.
