Sagi F1

Sagi F1 watermelon is a mid-season seedless watermelon hybrid with a vegetation period of about 70-75 days. The plant features vigorous leaf development and long vines that effectively cover the fruit, providing protection. This hybrid is resistant to adverse weather conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones.

The fruits of Sagi F1 watermelon have a round-oval shape and an average weight of about 10 kilograms, sometimes reaching 9-12 kg. The rind is a vibrant green with dark green stripes, while the flesh is bright or dark red, dense, juicy, and crisp. The flesh sugar content is 12-14%, giving the watermelon a sweet and rich flavor.

Growing the seedless watermelon Sagi F1 requires special attention: it is advisable to use seedling method, as seed germination significantly decreases at temperatures below 20°C. For successful pollination, it is necessary to additionally plant a pollinator hybrid, which complicates harvest since the pollinator and seedless watermelon are visually very similar. Despite these characteristics, Sagi F1 is a high-yielding and in-demand hybrid, ideally suited for supermarket distribution.
