Description
Medium-ripening variety, obtained at the Bakchar Experimental Station of the Northern Horticulture Department of the Siberian Institute of Horticulture named after M.A. Lisavenko, from crossing of the varieties Altai Desert and Sinyaya. Authors: G.S. Esenko, L.P. Samolova, V.M. Kob yakova. Under state variety testing since 2003.
Medium-height, medium-spreading, medium-dense bush. Growing shoots are green; woody shoots are medium, straight, gray, with brown stripes, matte, hairless, apex slightly brown. Buds of medium size, sessile, deviated from the shoots, sharp. Leaf scar shape is rounded-triangular.
Leaf five-lobed, medium, green, shiny, leathery, wrinkled. Leaf blade is concave along the central vein. Lobes are triangular, apexes sharp and elongated, central lobe exceeds lateral ones, with additional protrusions. Lateral lobes are positioned at an acute angle to the central one, angle between their midribs obtuse. Basal lobes are well developed. Leaf base is heart-shaped with a small notch. Teeth are short, blunt, with white "tips". Petiole is medium in length and thickness, with slight anthocyanin coating.
Flowers are medium-sized, round-cup-shaped, pale-pink. Sepals are medium, broad, with pale-pink coloration, loosely arranged. Inflorescences are medium length (5-6 cm), berries are densely arranged. Inflorescence axis is medium, with slight "tanning"; petiole is medium, hairless.
Berries are large (average weight 1.2-1.5 g, maximum 2.5 g), black, round, shiny, hairless, with medium (up to 30) seed count, ripening is prolonged, dry detachment, transportable. Taste is sour-sweet (4.8 points). Peduncle is medium length, thin, calyx is closed. Chemical composition: total sugars — 7.0%, titratable acidity — 3.5%, ascorbic acid — 236.3 mg/100 g.
Cold-hardy variety (tolerates minus 47.5°C without freezing), medium self-fertility, moderately resistant to powdery mildew, septoria, resistant to bud mite, average yield 7.0 t/ha (2.5 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: stable yield, transportability, large fruit size, good cold hardiness, resistance to bud mite.
Disadvantages of the variety: not resistant to powdery mildew.
