Description
Medium-ripening variety, developed at the Southern Ural Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Potato Cultivation from crossing the varieties Altai Dessert and Golubka. Author V.S. Ilyin. Since 1994, included in the State Register of varieties approved for use in the Ural region.
Medium-height and dense bush, moderately spreading. Growing shoots of medium thickness, green, curved. Buds single, oval, brown, positioned at an angle to the shoot, leaf scar shape rounded.
Leaf three- to five-lobed, with medium-depth indentations between lobes, large or medium-sized, green or yellowish-green, glossy, leathery, wrinkled. Leaf blade slightly concave along the central veins of the lobes, often bent downward. Lobes pointed, central lobe larger than lateral ones with additional projections. Lateral lobes widely spaced, angle between their central veins acute. Basal lobes poorly defined. Leaf base with open indentation of medium depth. Teeth sharp, long, not curled. Petiole long, medium thickness, usually with anthocyanic coloring along its entire length.
Flowers medium-sized, pale, calyx lobes medium width, short, pale. Inflorescences medium (up to 4-5 cm), axis medium length, light green, slightly curved, pedicel thin, medium length, green.
Berries medium or large (1.0-2.0 g), round-oval, one-dimensional, nearly black, tart-sweet (4.6 points), refreshing flavor, versatile use. Seed count medium. Receptacle closed, peduncle medium length, thin. Chemical composition: total sugars — 13.9%, titratable acidity — 2.2%, ascorbic acid — 105.3 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, self-fertile, weakly affected by powdery mildew, septoria, bud mite, average yield 5.3 t/ha, maximum — 11.3 t/ha (1.6-3.4 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: disease resistance, bud mite resistance, winter-hardiness, yield.
Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient berry size.
