Siberian Selection: Features of the 'Isabella' Golden Currant

The 'Isabella' variety, developed by experts at the FSUE Novosibirsk Zonal Horticultural Station of the Russian Agricultural Academy in collaboration with the Central Siberian Botanical Garden of the SB RAS, represents a benchmark for adaptability in harsh climates. The breeding is based on the golden currant species (Ribes aureum), which significantly changes agricultural practices and yield potential compared to traditional black currants.
