Description
Mid-late maturing variety, developed at the Mountain Horticulture Department of the Siberian Institute of Horticulture named after M.A. Lisavenko from crossing the varieties 'Pushtaya' and 'Zoya'. Authors: L.N. Zabelina, Z.S. Zotova, I.P. Kalinina, M.A. Lisavenko. Since 1993, included in the State Register of varieties approved for use in the Volga-Vyatka, Western, and Eastern Siberian regions.
Medium-height, slightly spreading, moderately dense bush. Growing shoots are thick, straight, light-green, heavily hairy. Woody shoots are light gray-brown, hairy. Buds are large, oval-rounded, solitary, light-green, with yellow glands, lightly hairy, deviated from the shoot, terminal — free.
Leaf five-lobed, large and medium-sized, green, dense, leaf surface smooth, matte, without hairs. Color of main veins light-green. Central lobe is broad and elongated, exceeding lateral lobes. Angle between main veins of lateral lobes is right and obtuse. Basal lobes are moderately developed, their veins spread out. Leaf base with a medium-depth notch, open. Leaf margin teeth are very short and curled. Petioles are medium-length, densely hairy, light-green, positioned at an acute angle (45°) to the shoot.
Flowers of medium size. Sepals pale-pink, petals creamy, not closed, deviated. Inflorescences medium-sized (5-6 berries), dense. Pedicels are medium-length, light-green, hairy.
Berries large (1.2 g), round, single-ribbed, black, with waxy coating, average seed content, medium-firm skin, sour-sweet flavor, good. Seeds are small, light-brown. Receptacle is small and open. Chemical composition: soluble dry matter — 10.8%, total sugars — 5.6-8.7%, titratable acidity — 2.1-2.4%, ascorbic acid — 96.0-127.0 mg/100 g.
Cold-hardy variety, high-yielding (6.5 t/ha), characterized by good self-fertility, resistance to fungal diseases and bud mite.
Advantages of the variety: high cold-hardiness, resistance to fungal diseases and bud mite.
Disadvantages of the variety: high requirement for fertile soil, on northern slopes forms a weak bush.
