The Shagane blackcurrant variety is a mid-ripening, large-fruit variety known for its high yield and excellent tart-sweet berry flavor. The berries weigh between 4 and 8 grams, have a tender pulp and a matte surface, giving them an attractive appearance. Shagane bushes are medium-sized and slightly spreading, which facilitates care and harvest collection. The variety is characterized by early fruiting and self-fertility at a level of 62%, contributing to stable and high yields.
