Description
Medium-ripening variety, obtained at the Sverdlovsk Selection Station for gardening by crossing the varieties Fertodi and Zelenaya Dymka. Author T.V. Shagina. Included in the State Register of varieties approved for use in the Volga-Vyatka and West Siberian regions in 2004.
Medium-height, slightly spreading, moderately dense bush. Growing shoots are thick, light green, hairless, woody — thick, light brown, without hairs. Buds are medium-sized, elongated with a pointed tip, solitary, strongly colored, slightly hairy, deviated from the shoots. Apical bud is free. Leaf scar shape is rounded-triangular.
Leaf three-lobed, medium-sized, light green, matte, hairless, smooth, flat. Central lobe is egg-shaped with a sharp tip, significantly longer than lateral lobes, without additional protrusions. Lateral lobes are long, broad, sharp, tips directed sideways, angle between their veins obtuse. Basal lobes are poorly developed, veins spread out. Leaf base is heart-shaped, notch deep, narrow, open. Teeth are large, with clearly defined "tips". Petiole is short, thick, hairless, pinkish at the base of the leaf, positioned at a right angle to the shoot. Flowers are large. Inflorescences are of medium length and density.
Berries are medium-sized, round, black, dry-detaching, with a small quantity of medium-sized seeds, sweet taste, table use. Calyx is small, non-deciduous, closed. Pedicel is long, green, hairless. Chemical composition: dry substances — 11.0%, total sugars — 6.6%, titratable acidity — 2.2%, ascorbic acid — 164.6 mg/100 g.
Highly winter-hardy, self-fertile (up to 70%), average yield 9.0 t/ha, high disease resistance.
Advantages of the variety: suitable for use in commercial plantations and amateur gardening, large-fruited, good taste, highly resistant to fungal diseases, uniform, simultaneously ripening berries, high winter hardiness.
Disadvantages of the variety: in older plantations, slight damage by bud mites may occur.
