The Chemistry Inside

• Cyprodinil (pyrimidinamines): A systemic component that penetrates plant tissues, moving both acropetally and translaminarly. It inhibits the biosynthesis of methionine, effectively arresting fungal mycelial growth and preventing infection from spreading inside the plant.
• Fludioxonil (phenylpyrroles): Acts as a contact agent, creating a persistent protective barrier on the plant surface. It disrupts glucose phosphorylation, which effectively prevents spore germination and prevents entry into the host tissue.
