As a systemic soil herbicide, it enters seedlings through the coleoptile (in grasses) or hypocotyl (in broadleaf weeds), terminating their development before they emerge from the soil. The selectivity of the product is built on the capacity of the crops—soybean, sunflower, and maize—to metabolize the active component, detoxifying it before it impacts the crop seedling.

Formulation Engineering

Upon contact with soil moisture, the product establishes a resilient "protective screen."
