The technical core of this product is its synergy of three active ingredients—desmedipham, phenmedipham, and ethofumesate—designed to overcome weed resistance efficiently.

Technical composition and mechanism of action

• Desmedipham and Phenmedipham: These carbamate derivatives target the photosynthetic process in weeds. By disrupting electron transport through foliar absorption, these components cause rapid cell breakdown in sensitive broad-leaved weeds.
• Ethofumesate: A furan derivative (benzofuran class) that provides a critical dual effect. Beyond its post-emergence activity, it inhibits cell division in meristematic tissues, providing a prolonged soil barrier that prevents further weed germination.

Operational aspects in the field

Supplied as a suspension concentrate (SC), the product offers excellent formulation stability, ensuring a uniform spray pattern and maximum surface coverage on leaves. With an application rate of 1–3 L/ha, the herbicide maintains high selectivity; beet crops possess specific enzymes that neutralize the herbicide, while susceptible broad-leaved weeds are eliminated.

• Post-emergence timing: Application is most effective when weeds are at the cotyledon stage.
