Reliable systemic herbicide for selective broad-leaved weed control in fodder beet.
Description
Effective Weed Control for Fodder Beet
«Goltizan 700 KS» from DVA Agro GmbH (China) is a systemic selective herbicide designed to manage a broad spectrum of broad-leaved weeds in fodder beet crops. By utilizing the power of metamitron (triazine group), this product provides reliable post-emergence protection, ensuring that crops remain free from competition during critical growth stages.
How it Works
As a foliar-applied selective herbicide, Goltizan 700 KS is absorbed through the leaves and roots, systemically blocking photosynthesis in target weeds, which leads to their cessation of growth and eventual death. It is highly effective against common agricultural weeds such as:
- Common lambsquarters (Chenopodium album) and Redroot pigweed
- Field mustard and Shepherd's purse
- Common chickweed and Scentless chamomile
- Purple dead-nettle and Field pansy
Application Guidelines
The suspension concentrate formulation ensures consistent results when mixed. Depending on the weed pressure, the application rate is set between 1 and 5 liters per hectare. A maximum of 3 applications per season is permitted, with a mandatory 30-day pre-harvest interval (PHI). Given its classification as a Category 2 hazard material, growers are advised to follow all safety protocols during mixing and spraying operations to ensure operator safety and environmental protection.
