"Nikotif-Star" is the result of integrating the production capabilities of the "Agrochemical Factory" (Cherkasy, Ukraine) with international technological standards. This product is a combined post-emergence herbicide specifically developed to address weed management challenges in corn fields, where conventional solutions often fall short against a complex spectrum of invasive flora.

A dual-action strike against weeds

The efficacy of this herbicide is rooted in its two active ingredients: nicosulfuron and thifensulfuron-methyl. This combination creates a selective tool for the field:

• Nicosulfuron provides systemic action, absorbing through the leaves to inhibit the growth of both perennial and annual grass weeds.
• Thifensulfuron-methyl enhances control over annual broad-leaved species that frequently compete with crops for nutrients during early development stages.

Operating as a foliage-applied herbicide, "Nikotif-Star" demonstrates rapid absorption rates. Weed growth is arrested almost immediately after application, with complete necrosis occurring within a few weeks. Crucially, the herbicide exhibits high selectivity, allowing the corn crop to metabolize the active ingredients without compromising its yield potential.

Field application and usage

The Cherkasy-based "Agrochemical Factory" prioritized convenience with this aqueous solution, which is easy to dose and blends efficiently in tank mixtures. The recommended application rate is 0.25 to 0.5 L/ha. A vital operational constraint is the application frequency: the product is designed for a single treatment per vegetation cycle, requiring the agronomist to precisely target the optimal weed growth stage.

Classified as a hazard class 3 product, it requires standard safety measures during handling. When applied according to the technical guidelines, "Nikotif-Star" serves as a reliable tool for farmers aiming to maintain clean fields and manage a wide range of harmful plants while maintaining a balanced cost structure for corn production.
