"Promex s.c." is a systemic herbicide based on the active ingredient prometryn. Unlike contact-only treatments, this product is absorbed through both the shoots and root systems of weeds, effectively inhibiting photosynthesis (the Hill reaction). The core technical advantage lies in its selective action: while it devastates a wide range of annual broad-leaved and grass weeds, the protected crops (such as carrots, coriander, or legumes) possess a natural mechanism to metabolize and neutralize the compound, ensuring crop safety when applied at the correct rates.

Technical Application Features

• Soil Barrier: As a pre-emergence soil herbicide, Promex creates a protective layer on the soil surface. Performance is heavily contingent on seedbed quality; cloddy, uneven soil reduces coverage and decreases overall efficiency.

As a Class 3 hazard level substance, standard protective measures for agricultural chemicals apply.
