Description
Medium-maturing variety, obtained at the Far Eastern Research Institute of Horticulture from crossing the varieties Golubka and Kompaktnaya. Developed by A.S. Vavilov. Under state variety testing since 2001.
Bush is vigorous. Woody stems of medium thickness, smooth, light-brown.
Leaf is five-lobed, medium-sized, light-green, matte, leathery, wrinkled, blade positioned horizontally. Lobes are broad and pointed, central lobe exceeds lateral ones. Angle between central veins of lateral lobes is acute. Basal lobes are poorly developed. Leaf base is rounded with a fairly deep notch. Teeth are large and sharp. Petiole is long, thin, green. Buds are medium-sized, oval-pointed, deviated from the stem, leaf scar shape is broad and rounded.
Flowers are medium-sized, cup-shaped, sepals light-green, not fused, slightly bent upward. Inflorescences are medium-length, medium-density, hanging, axis is thin, smooth, petiole is not hairy, medium-length.
Berries are large (1.3 g), black, shiny, with average seed count. Receptacle is round, small, closed. Pedicels are medium-length. Flavor is sweet-sour (4.0 points). Berries are versatile in use. Chemical composition: dry matter — 16.6%, total sugars — 8.3%, titratable acidity — 2.5%, ascorbic acid — 218.1 mg/100 g, catechins — 171.0 mg/100 g, pectin — 6.7%.
Winter-hardy variety, self-fertile, moderately resistant to powdery mildew, anthracnose, and septoria, productive (3.6 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: yield, large fruit size, high winter hardiness, good berry flavor.
Disadvantages of the variety: susceptibility to fungal diseases.
