Description
Medium-late maturing variety, developed jointly by VSTISP and Bashkir Research Institute of Agriculture from crossing the varieties Moskovskaya and Krupnaya. Authors: V.M. Litvinova, M.G. Abdieva. Included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the Central Volga region in 2001.
Strong-growing, medium-spreading, dense bush. Non-hardened shoots of medium thickness, straight, green, matte, hairy; hardened shoots thick, dark brown. Buds small, elongated, sharp, brownish, without hair, slightly deviated from the shoot, solitary; leaf scar shape curved.
Leaf three- to five-lobed, medium-sized, bluish-green, without hair, slightly wrinkled, shiny, herbaceous, convex. Central lobe sharp, longer than lateral ones, without additional protrusions. Lateral lobes of medium length and width, sharp, margins curled inward, angle between veins of lateral lobes acute. Basal lobes not developed. Base small, open. Teeth along leaf blade margin blunt, short, without distinct tip. Petiole medium length and thickness, without hair, green.
Flowers medium-sized, cup-shaped, sepals bright pink, free. Inflorescence medium length (6-8 cm) and density, with medium-length pedicel, axis medium thickness, without hair, pedicel medium length, dark green, without hair.
Berries medium-sized (average weight 1.0 g, maximum 1.5 g), round, one-dimensional, nearly black, dry detachment, with small number of seeds. Calyx small, falling off, closed. Flavor sweet-sour (4.2 points). Berries of universal use. Chemical composition: total sugar content — 7.2%, titratable acidity — 0.2%, ascorbic acid — 186.0 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, self-fertile, resistant to fungal diseases, average yield 11.3 t/ha (3.3 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: one-dimensional berries with high flavor qualities, resistant to diseases.
Disadvantages of the variety: tendency of bushes to overcrowding.
