Description
Mid-early maturing variety, obtained at VSTISP from crossing the varieties Compact and Memory of Michurin. Author: V.M. Litvinova. Included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the North Caucasus region in 1995.
Tall, slightly spreading, dense bush. Growing shoots of medium thickness, straight, green with a bluish tint, reddish tips, hairy, woody, thick, straight, gray-brown. Buds small, egg-shaped, pointed, pinkish, without hairs, deviated from the shoots, solitary, terminal free, leaf scar shape rounded-triangular.
Leaf five-lobed, large, green, wrinkled, without hairs, weakly shiny, wavy. Central lobe significantly longer than lateral ones, wide, with a sharp apex and additional projections. Lateral lobes short, sharp, angle between their veins straight. Basal lobes poorly developed, veins spread out. Base straight or with a small notch. Teeth large, sharp, without a distinct tip. Petiole long, medium thickness, bluish.
Flowers medium-sized, dish-shaped, calyx lobes yellow-green, reflexed, free. Inflorescences short (4-6 cm), medium density, with short peduncle; axis thin, without hairs; pedicel medium length, green, without hairs.
Berries large (average weight 1.2 g, maximum — 1.8 g), round, black, dry detachable, with medium seed count. Receptacle medium-sized, falling off, closed. Taste sour-sweet (4.3 points). Berries of universal use. Chemical composition: total sugars — 7.4%, titratable acidity — 0.2%, ascorbic acid — 210.0 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, self-fertile, resistant to bud mite, average yield 13.4 t/ha (3.6 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: large-fruited, high-yielding.
Disadvantages of the variety: susceptible to powdery mildew and anthracnose, requires careful care.
