Description
Mid-late maturing variety, developed at Saint Petersburg State Agricultural Academy (LSHI) by pollinating the 'Narodnaya' variety with a pollen mixture of 'Stakhanovka Altai' and 'Chernaya Lisavenko' varieties. Author: E.I. Glebova. Included in the State Register of Varieties Approved for Use in the Volga-Vyatka, Central Chernozem, and Middle Volga regions in 1992.
Medium-height, compact bush. Stems are thin with long internodes. Buds are small, egg-shaped, green, slightly pressed against the stems.
Leaf is five-lobed, medium-sized. Leaf blade is leathery, wrinkled, concave, with an elongated central lobe. Basal lobes are weakly developed, and the gaps between lobes are small.
Berries are large (1.0-1.5 g), one-dimensional, black with a matte gloss, arranged in long clusters (6-9 berries), do not drop off, with dry detachment.
Chemical composition: dry matter — 18.8%, total sugars — 8.3%, titratable acidity — 3.5%, ascorbic acid — 156.0 mg/100 g fresh weight.
Winter-hardy, early-bearing, high-yielding (2.0-3.5 kg/plant), resistant to pests and diseases.
Advantages of the variety: stable yield. Disadvantages of the variety: berries are for technical use.
