Description
Early-maturing variety, developed at VNIILUPIN by crossing the variety Izyumnaya and form 42-7. Authors: A.I. Astakhov, L.I. Zueva. Included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the Central region in 2005.
Strong, upright bush. Growing shoots of medium thickness, straight, green, glabrous. Buds lightly colored and lightly pubescent.
Three-lobed leaf, medium size, light green, sometimes with yellowing, leaf blade glabrous, weakly shiny, leathery, nearly straight. Leaf lobes with fine notches, leaf tips acute. Angle formed by midrib veins of lobes is straight. Leaf base with deep, closed notch. Teeth short, not curled. Petiole weakly colored with anthocyanin.
Flowers medium-sized, pale-yellow, calyx lobes pale-red. Inflorescence long and medium (9-19 flowers), with dense and medium berry arrangement. Axis of medium thickness, straight or slightly curved, glabrous.
Berries very large (1.8-3.5 g), round, one-dimensional, nearly black, matte, with bluish waxy coating, medium skin, elastic, with dry detachment. Peduncle of medium length, green, thin. Taste sour-sweet (4.8 points). Berries of universal use. Chemical composition: total sugars — 7.2%, titratable acidity — 2.3%, ascorbic acid — 196.0 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, self-fertile, moderately resistant to spring frosts and drought, possesses good recovery ability, resistant to powdery mildew, anthracnose, bud mite, average yield 11.7 t/ha (1.8 kg/plant), maximum — 17.7 t/ha (2.7 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: resistance to diseases and stress factors, early uniform berry ripening.
Disadvantages of the variety: moderate resistance to spring frosts and drought.
