Description
Medium-late maturing variety, developed at the Southern Ural Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Potato Growing by crossing the varieties 'Seyanets Golubki' and 'Bredtorp'. Author: V.S. Ilyin. Since 2005, included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the Ural region.
Medium-height, dense, slightly spreading bush. Growing shoots of medium thickness, green and light-green, curved, hairless. Medium-sized buds, round, brown, pointed at the tip, solitary. Leaf scar shape is broadly conical.
Five-lobed leaf, medium size, dark green, shiny, wrinkled, leathery, blade slightly concave along the midribs of the lobes, sometimes slightly convex. Lobes are sharp, deeply notched, the central lobe exceeds the lateral ones, acute, broad, with additional protrusions. Lateral lobes are sharp, broad, with tips directed sideways from the central vein of the central lobe, angle between their midribs obtuse or straight. Basal lobes are moderately expressed. Leaf base has a shallow, narrow, rounded notch. Teeth are medium-sized, sharp, not curled, with a distinct 'claw'. Petiole of medium length and thickness, hairless, positioned at a 45° angle to the shoot.
Flowers of medium size, medium coloration, corymbose, calyx lobes pale, not fused, reflexed. Inflorescences of medium length (3.5-5.0 cm), dense. Axis thick, slightly curved, hairless, light green.
Berries very large (2.2-4.7 g), round, one-dimensional, black, with medium-thick skin, tart-sweet (4.7 points), pleasant flavor, with distinct sweetness, universal use. Receptacle half-open, pedicel short, medium thickness, green.
Winter-hardy, high-yielding, self-fertile, characterized by increased resistance to powdery mildew, anthracnose, slightly damaged by bud mites, average yield 9.6 t/ha, maximum — 26.4 t/ha (2.4-6.6 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: very large berry size, high yield and winter-hardiness, resistance to powdery mildew.
Disadvantages of the variety: medium degree of infection by septoria.
