Description
Mid-early maturing variety, developed at the VNIIS named after I.V. Michurin by crossing the varieties Lyubava and Dikovinka. Breeders: T.S. Zvyagina, T.V. Zhidkhina. Under state variety testing since 2009.
Medium-height, medium-spreading bush. Woody stems are medium, golden-gray, shiny. Buds are large, elongated-oval,
brownish-pink, sessile, slightly deviated from the stem, leaf scar shape is rounded-triangular.
Leaf five-lobed, large and medium, light green, slightly shiny, leathery, wrinkled, blade positioned horizontally, concave along the central vein, leaf margin wavy. Lobes are pointed, central lobe is larger than lateral ones, sometimes with additional protrusions. Lateral lobes are widely spaced, angle between their central veins is acute. Basal lobes are well developed. Leaf base is straight, teeth are large, sharp, doubly toothed, petiole is long and medium, thick and medium, colored with anthocyanin near the tip.
Flowers are medium, cup-shaped, sepals pale with purplish stripes along the flower edge, free, spread sideways. Inflorescences are medium and long (3.7-5.8 cm), dense, hanging, axis thin and medium, without petiole. Inflorescence type is spur-like.
Berries are large (1.4-1.9 g), round, black, with strong gloss, numerous seeds, tart-sweet flavor (4.4 points), universal use. Receptacle is rounded, medium, closed. Stems are medium and long. Chemical composition: dry solids — 13.6%, sugar sum — 9.3%, titratable acidity — 2.7%, ascorbic acid — 148.0 mg/100 g, P-active substances — 878.1 mg/100 g, pectin substances — 1.8%.
Winter-hardy, early-bearing, self-fertile, resistant to powdery mildew and bud mite, average yield 12.0 t/ha (3.6 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: early bearing, high productivity, large berry size.
Disadvantages of the variety: need for annual pruning.
