Description
Early maturing variety, developed at the Southern Ural Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Potato Growing by crossing the varieties 'Seyanets Golubki' and 'Bredtorp'. Author: V.S. Ilyin. Included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the Central and Far Eastern regions in 2008.
Medium-height and dense bush, moderately spreading. Growing shoots of medium thickness, green, curved. Buds free, located singly at an angle to the shoot, brown, naked, leaf scar shape rounded.
Leaf five-lobed, medium, green or light green, wrinkled, shiny, soft, blade concave. Lobes acute, central exceeds lateral with additional protrusions. Lateral lobes widely spaced, angle between their midveins straight. Basal lobes moderately developed, uneven. Leaf base with medium or deep notch. Teeth medium, acute. Petiole long, thin, light green.
Flowers medium, narrow-oval, pale, sepals free, medium length, reflexed, pale-yellow with slight pinkish tint. Inflorescences medium length (4-6 cm), solitary, axis medium thickness, green, naked, curved.
Berries very large (1.9-5.0 g), round, relatively uniform, nearly black, with medium seed count, sweet-tart flavor (5 points), aromatic. Receptacle closed, peduncle long, thin, green.
Cold-hardy, self-fertile, early-bearing, with high resistance to powdery mildew, average yield 4.3 t/ha, maximum 12.5 t/ha.
Advantages of the variety: large berry size, dessert taste of berries, high winter hardiness, yield.
Disadvantages of the variety: medium resistance to bud mite.
