Description
Medium-ripening variety, developed at the South Ural Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Potato Cultivation by crossing the varieties Selyanets Golubki and Bredtorp. Author: V.S. Ilyin. Under state variety testing since 2003.
Medium-height, medium-spreading, dense bush. Growing shoots of medium thickness, green, hairless, slightly curved, with tips slightly tinged with purple. Buds of medium or even small size, bright brown, solitary, oval-shaped, emerging from the shoots at a slight angle, leaf scar shape oval-rounded.
Five-lobed leaf, medium-sized with deep indentations, green, weakly glossy, leathery, concave blade, bare. Lobes pointed, central exceeds lateral. Lateral lobes widely spaced, angle between their midribs obtuse. Basal lobes well-developed. Leaf base with deep or medium indentation. Teeth of medium length, sharp, not reflexed.
Flowers small, cup-shaped, pale, sepals yellow-green with slight pink "tan", not closed, slightly reflexed. Inflorescences double or single, medium length (7-8 berries), dense or medium density, axis medium, green, hairless, slightly curved.
Berries very large (2.0-3.5 g), oval-rounded, one-dimensional, nearly black, with average seed count, tart-sweet taste (4.9 points), universal use. Peduncle long, thin.
Cold-resistant variety, self-fertile, weakly affected by powdery mildew, anthracnose, average yield 6.4 t/ha, maximum — 13.6 t/ha (1.6-3.4 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: good cold resistance and yield, very large berries, high taste qualities.
Disadvantages of the variety: medium resistance to septoria.
