A triple sulfonylurea combination for complete control of grass and broadleaf weeds in wheat crops.
Description
Synergy of three components against grass and broadleaf weeds
"Zlakodin" by Sunrise Chemical is a high-performance tool for winter wheat protection, based on a synergistic combination of sulfonylureas and active auxiliary agents. The key feature of the preparation is its triple-action mechanism targeting the metabolic processes of weeds: sulfosulfuron, mesosulfuron-methyl, and iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium block the acetolactate synthase enzyme, which inevitably leads to the cessation of cell division in the plant's growth points.
Technical advantages of the formulation
- Systemic activity: The preparation penetrates through the leaf surface and is rapidly distributed through the phloem and xylem. This allows for the destruction of not only the above-ground part but also the root systems of problematic weeds such as couch grass (Elymus repens).
- Selectivity: "Zlakodin" is a selective herbicide. The crop plant is able to metabolize the components of the preparation into safe compounds, while weeds such as common lambsquarters, green foxtail, field pennycress, and cleavers perish within 2–3 weeks after application.
- Formulation: Water-dispersible granules (WDG) ensure the stability of the working solution and prevent dusting during the preparation of tank mixtures. This technical solution increases adherence and facilitates the penetration of active ingredients through the waxy cuticle of the weeds.
Application guidelines
The product is applied post-emergence. The consumption rate is up to 25 grams per hectare, making it a cost-effective solution for large-scale operations. Due to the high rate of degradation within the plant, the pre-harvest interval is only 1 day, eliminating constraints on harvest scheduling after application.

Depending on their ability to move through living tissues, herbicides are divided into contact and systemic. Contact herbicides cause local damage to plant tissue upon contact, which dies or gradually degrades. This action does not always completely destroy the plant; often, its... |
