Description
ALENUSHKA is a winter wheat variety represented in two variants: durum wheat (Triticum durum Desf.) and soft wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). Durum wheat ALENUSHKA is characterized by early maturity with a growing season of 250-258 days, ripening 5-8 days earlier than the standard Kristall 2. Plants reach a height of 80-94 cm, have pyramidal heads of medium density, and semi-elongated white grain with deep grooves. Soft wheat of this variety is mid-season, tall, with a mass of 1000 grains of 37-40 g, distinguished by high winter hardiness and drought resistance.
The ALENUSHKA variety exhibits high resistance to major wheat diseases, including brown and yellow rust, septoria, and powdery mildew. Durum wheat demonstrates resistance to lodging, exceeding standard indicators, while soft wheat is above average in cold hardiness. Yield of the variety varies by region: durum wheat shows an average yield of 53.3 c/ha with a maximum of 72.9 c/ha in the Krasnodar Krai, and soft wheat—36.5 c/ha in the Central Volga region and 24.5 c/ha in the Ural region.
ALENUSHKA is intended for use in agronomy and the food industry. Durum wheat is suitable for the production of pasta products with satisfactory pasta quality, while soft wheat is for bread production, providing baking qualities at a good filler level. The variety is characterized by stable development on various soil types and is able to withstand adverse weather conditions, making it a reliable choice for farmers and food producers.
